Founder & Lead Instructor
Ademar Arau, a third-generation actor, awarded an Ariel and member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, has spent his life working inside stories — performing them, shaping them, and understanding what makes them resonate.
Active in the United States and Mexico since 1997, as an Actor and Composer, Ademar has worked across cinema, international short films, and inspirational-driven productions. As a result, he has first-hand experience of what it means to step onto set, collaborate under pressure, and carry a story from script to screen.
His background blends acting, music, storytelling, and coaching, allowing him to approach filmmaking not just as an art form, but as a system — The FILMUX Method — one that balances emotion, structure, and execution.
FILMUX is an international film studio and school, with the goal of producing films and developing professional filmmakers.
In 9 intensive months, you don't just learn film theory. You develop, shoot, and prepare real film projects using the Filmux method.
The result is a training environment where filmmakers don't just study cinema, they learn how to direct stories, finish projects, and step into the industry with confidence, and understand the business side of filmmaking.
